Q:We have been using Archer C3200 for serveral months, using Smart Connect, and were able to connect devices easily, well over 20 sometimes. Suddenly, we became limited to about 10, and that is not consistent, so somtimes say 15 devices, somtimes 10. And then the Router refuses connecting additional devices. We did not change anything in the configuration. We called technical support, after having spent many hours, and the Firmware upgrade helped, but still we are facing the same issue: a very limited number of devices can connect now. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestion on how to fix this. And also if anyone had encountered that problem. Thanks.
A:You can try to disable Smart Connect and do a test. Connect some to 5Ghz and some to 2.4Ghz separately. Smart Connect is not working very well sometimes.Do not download or stream when testing.

Reviews:TP-Link Archer C5400 router. What a GREAT router. This replaces my old wireless router in a 2 story 3200 sq. ft. home office. The old router signal wouldn’t reach every room, had to install a repeater. The C5400 has a very powerful signal. I did several speed tests on iPhone and get 200 Mbps wifi, even in the furthest room. Major improvement. Router configuration is simple but I didn’t try anything advanced. Used an Ethernet cable for configuration and screens popped up quickly, no delays. Found later firmware on TP-Link website and installed that. Simple. Turned on the “Smart Connect” so that all 3 SSIDs look like one and it seems to work fine, no problems. It is a bit expensive is a really simple, fast, very powerful wireless router.

A net friend to me of feedback, the new connection to the wireless router,Internet lights are not bright, but it can be normal to the Internet, but can not open 192.168.1.1, is how to return a responsibility?
I bit curious and open configuration of the router interface is how to make the router normal Internet access, Murphy is installed broadband get help?

In fact, the IP address of the router is not necessarily 192.168.1.1, and a significant portion of the router’s IP address 192.168.0.1 to see the back of the router tabs, is what address access router.

Since it can be normal online, you need to consider other reasons, such as: IP did not get, the network did not plug, DNS error, etc..

Definition: 192.168.1.2 is the default IP address for home broadband routers and access points are usually sold in some models other than the American.

Use 192.168.1.2 to connect to the router:
If the router uses the address on the local network for 192.168.1.2, you can log on to the router’s console through the Web browser to point to http://192.168.1.2/

Some manufacturers using 192.168.1.2:
This IP address is set to the default of some PHILPS, God’s brain and some other routers and access points to the manufacturer. However, any computer on a router or local network can be set to use 192.168.1.2. (in order to avoid the address conflict, it is only on the network that a device should use it).

192.168.1.2 is a private IPv4 network address, which means you can’t connect to the router, use the address from outside the home network. Instead, you must use the router’s public IP address.
