I just purchased a R8000P router to replace my aging WNDR4500(v1) butam finding that in the master bedroom, even though signal strength is still showing as full strength, i am getting really low data speeds. especially on the 5Ghz bands. last time i checked, I was only getting 0.04MBps. this is far lower than what i was getting from my old router on the 5Ghz network.My son have tried reflashing and reseting to factory, as well as just reseting to factory. for a while speeds were good, but the degraded over time. the 5Ghz band is almost empty, with only one other network besides the two signals coming from the router. I am unsure as to why this slowdown is ocuring. All other locations in the house seem to be getting good speeds from the router.
