1.Connect your NETGEAR router to your network.
2.Power on your NETGEAR router and wait for the lights to become stable.
3.Open an internet browser such as Safari, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
4.Go to the address bar and type http://www.routerlogin.com/ or http://www.routerlogin.net/. If you can not open this website, try 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1.

5.Wait for NETGEAR genie to finish detecting whether there is an existing router in the network.
6.Select “Let Me Choose”, then Access Point Mode. Click “Next” to proceed.
7.Choose the setting that applies for the next step (disabling your existing gateway’s WiFi):Select “Yes” if you can disable your existing gateway’s Wi-Fi. Enter your existing gateway SSID and passphrase in the SSID and passphrase fields. You will then need to manually disable your existing gateway’s Wi-Fi. For instructions on doing this, refer to your gateway’s user manual.
Select “No” if you cannot disable your existing gateway’s Wi-Fi.
8.Wait for the router to finish rebooting.
9.Click “Next” to finish the setup.
If you forget the password please reset the router to factory default by pressing the reset button/hole on the router.
Reset the NETGEAR router by inserting a small pin or paperclip into the reset hole of the router for about 10 seconds or until the power LED blinks once.
