Q: I have 25mb down internet.I also have tp-link archer c5 connected to this Archer C3000 router(outside in barn). Is it possible to put house router limit to 15mb down and barn to 10 mb down?
A: If you connect the Archer C5’s WAN port to Archer C3200’s LAN port, then the WAN port of Archer C5 will get an IP address such as 192.168.0.121, therefore, you can setup a rule for this IP address whose downstream is 10M at most.As a result, the barn can get 10m speed at most.
Here is the setting,
total upstream/downstream: x/25mb
add a rule: IP range(only include the WAN port IP of Archer C5), port range( include all), protocol(all), priority(as you like), upstream(as you like), downstream(10mbps)
